1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Refund SOL ("we," "our," "us," or the "Service"). By accessing or using refundsol.app (the "Website") and our services, you ("you," "your," or "user") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Refund SOL is a web-based tool that enables Solana blockchain users to:

Close empty SPL token accounts to recover locked rent deposits
Burn low-value or worthless tokens to recover locked rent deposits
View transaction history of rent reclaim operations

The Service is non-custodial: We never hold, control, or have access to your funds or private keys.

3. Eligibility

To use our Service, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age
Have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable laws
Own or have authorized access to a Solana-compatible wallet
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

4. Wallet Connection and Authorization

4.1 Wallet Responsibility

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet
You are responsible for all activities that occur through your wallet connection
We are not responsible for any loss or compromise of your wallet credentials

4.2 Read-Only Access

Our Service requests read-only access to scan your wallet
We never request or have access to your private keys or seed phrase
All transactions require your explicit approval in your wallet

4.3 Supported Wallets

We support major Solana wallets including Phantom, Solflare, Backpack, and others. We are not responsible for wallet provider functionality or security.

5. Service Fees

5.1 Fee Structure

Our Service charges:

Service Fee: 5% of total SOL recovered
Network Fees: Standard Solana blockchain transaction fees (~0.000005 SOL per transaction)

5.2 Fee Disclosure

All fees are clearly disclosed before you approve any transaction
Fees are automatically deducted from recovered rent
Fees are non-refundable once transactions are confirmed on-chain

5.3 Fee Changes

We reserve the right to modify our fee structure with 30 days' notice
Continued use of the Service after fee changes constitutes acceptance
Fee changes do not apply retroactively to completed transactions

6. User Responsibilities

6.1 Accurate Information

You agree to:

Verify all transaction details before approval
Ensure your wallet has sufficient SOL balance (minimum 0.001 SOL)
Review scan results and select items carefully
Understand the difference between closing accounts and burning tokens

6.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Attempt to circumvent or manipulate the Service
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
Use automated tools or bots to access the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Use the Service to launder money or engage in fraudulent activities
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data

6.3 Blockchain Understanding

You acknowledge that:

Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed
You understand the Solana rent mechanism
You understand the risks of closing accounts and burning tokens
Burning tokens is permanent and cannot be undone

7. Service Availability and Modifications

7.1 Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
The Service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues
Solana blockchain congestion may affect transaction processing

7.2 Service Modifications

We reserve the right to:

Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time
Change features, functionality, or interface
Update these Terms as necessary

7.3 No Guaranteed Results

We do not guarantee specific recovery amounts
Actual recovered amounts depend on blockchain state and account conditions
Transaction success depends on network conditions and wallet balance

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

8.1 "AS IS" Service

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Accuracy, reliability, or completeness

8.2 No Financial Advice

We do not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice
The Service is a tool only - you make all decisions independently
Consult appropriate professionals for financial or legal advice

8.3 Blockchain Risks

You acknowledge and accept the following risks:

Irreversibility: Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed
Smart Contract Risks: Bugs or vulnerabilities may exist
Network Risks: Solana network congestion or failures
Wallet Risks: Wallet provider issues or compromises
Market Risks: Token value fluctuations
Technical Risks: RPC node failures or connectivity issues

8.4 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100 USD, WHICHEVER IS GREATER
THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES

We are not liable for:

Incorrect account selections
Wallet compromises or security breaches
Third-party wallet or RPC provider failures
Blockchain network failures or congestion
Loss of private keys or wallet access

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Refund SOL, its operators, employees, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use or misuse of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any law or regulation
Your violation of any third-party rights
Any transactions you conduct through the Service

10. Third-Party Services

10.1 Wallet Providers

We integrate with third-party wallet providers
We are not responsible for wallet provider services, security, or policies
Wallet provider terms and policies apply to your wallet usage

10.2 RPC Providers

We use third-party RPC node providers to access blockchain data
RPC provider availability affects Service performance
We are not liable for RPC provider failures or service interruptions

10.3 Blockchain Explorers

We may link to third-party blockchain explorers
These services are independent and not controlled by us
We are not responsible for their accuracy or availability

11. Intellectual Property

11.1 Our Rights

All intellectual property rights in the Service, including:

Website design, layout, and graphics
Software, code, and algorithms
Trademarks, logos, and branding
Content and documentation

are owned by or licensed to Refund SOL.

11.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms.
